Hello. I’m Jerry Parsons.
Jerry teaches beginning through advanced guitar and beginning and intermediate bass guitar. His diverse background and technical studies help him dive deep into the practice of playing both instruments.
Jerry Parsons’ Lessons
Jerry takes a more traditional approach to teaching guitar and bass lessons, with equal emphasis on building strong technique and note reading skills. Both necessary to be a diverse and well rounded musician.
As the foundation for how musical ideas are shaped and shared, all of Jerry’s students learn to read standard notation.
Every bit as important as knowing what to play, is understanding the best way to play it. This is where a deep investigation of technique comes in.
Jerry brings unique experience to On Chord Academy, particularly in the more rhythmic and finger-driven genres, such as Flamenco, Latin and Blues music.
