Reviews From Parents About Our Free Music Workshops
The introductory class was my 9 year old daughters first foray into the real world of playing guitar. Unlike some other places this school starts with fun AND teaches music fundamentals[…]Their teachers communicate and work together to create an easy and fun curriculum so the students learn and the results come quickly. My daughter learned more in her free intro lesson than most guitar teachers teach in a month, all while enjoying every minute!Brandt D.
We signed our daughter up for the introductory lesson and were more than impressed with what she got. She went in with very basic knowledge about the guitar and, after only 90 minutes, left with knowledge of the instrument, the ability to read tablature, an understanding of counts and measures, and was playing simple songs. It was obvious that the instructors here really care about their students!Sarah D.
For me the best tell of how a lesson of any type is to ask the person who just had the lesson (in this case my son) how the lesson was. Once we where in the car driving home I asked my boy, he answered, “I really liked it and I really want to keep doing it.”KSL User
Prepare for Lessons
We want drum lessons to be fun, starting from the first lesson. Our workshops take a lot of the fundamental information drum students learn in their first month, and combines it in a fast-paced, fun and engaging group lesson.
Students who attend our free drum workshops, begin their first lesson confident in the basics and ready to start learning. Whether you plan to enroll in lessons at On Chord Academy in Layton, are looking for online Skype drum lessons, or end up taking from another teacher, we prepare you for drum lessons.
No Commitment Needed
We feel it is important for beginning drum students to be engaged in their lessons from day one. That’s why we teach the basics before private lessons even begin. Learning the fundamentals is easier in a small group setting with a fast-paced and accessible lesson plan.
Our goal is to help beginning drum students succeed, whether they start taking lessons from us or elsewhere. There is no commitment necessary to attend. You don’t even need to being your own gear. We supply the practice pads and drum sticks.
